Network cabling is being increasingly laid out up to the subscriber using future-orientated and interference-proof fibre optic cables. In the case of a star distribution inside a building or on a floor the fibre optic cabling does not require any active components for retransmission due to the long distance being possible. Thus, in most cases, 19" racks and the necessary separate room are not required. For the purpose of changing from multifibre cables to duplex or breakout cables the Wall Distributors or Wall Splice Boxes from Telegärtner are exceptionally suited.
