Product description The demands for reliable termination of multifibre loose-tube fibre optic cables in networks in accordance with users' individual requirements can be met with the Modular FO Distribution System. With this system, multifibre loose-tube cables containing up to 288 optical fibres can either be secured directly to the 3 HU module carrier or the FO cables can be split in the loop storage box or distribution panel and routed to the individual modules via cable guide tubes. The modular design of the slide-in units allows most of the standard FO connectors to be used; among other things, up to 24 fibres can be accommodated in a single module when using LC or MT-RJ connectors. In addition, pre-assembled breakout cables or distribution cables (ODS) can be routed directly to the modules and secured with cable ties or glands into place.
